  • Ethel Morgan - DCS
    Department of Correctional Service
"I work with women in our correctional system who may
not even know how to read. When these women learn,
overcome their frustrations, and run to me with CXC
passess, nothing gives me more pride.

I am Ethel Morgan and I am proud to work in the
    Department of Correctional Services."

The Department of Correctional Services is creating
more learning opportunities for inmates in our prison
system. In 2015, the passrate in CSEC examinations for
adults in Jamaica's Correctional System rose to 67%, up
    from 31% in 2013.

Our Vision

To be the Caribbean centre of Excellence in Correctional Management.
