She served in varying capacities prior to assuming the post of Commissioner in October 2014.
She earned a Masters Degree in Educational Psychology from the University of the West Indies and an Executive Masters from the Mico University College in collaboration with the Mona School of Business.
Her philosophy is under-girded by the belief that offenders have the capacity to change and the ability to contribute to nation building.
